This paper are propose two point to implement Asistive technology for people disabilities.

It first propose a general architecture of mobile social networks form a virtual community, conversing and connecting with one another based on mobile communication. Second, mobile social networks are implemented in collaboration with a supported employment program set up for people with severe mental illness.

For example: it used location-based, personlized, interactive mobile social network services to help the mental illness finding the directions, and location let caregivers know.

And it still use mobile device (like PDA or iPad) to send the immediateness warning message to the caregivers if they are traveling too long.That is very convenient to close the mental illness and caregivers' social network.Base on the mobile social netwok framework, location awareness has been added into the alarm so that it is not onlya time alarm but also a location alarm. This makes the alarm more useful to both the users and their caregivers.

This paper first propose a general architecture of mobile social networks where individuals in the netwok form a virtual community,conversing and connecting with one another, based on mobile communication. Second, they describe an implementation of mobile social networks in collaboration with a supported employment program established for people with severe mental illness.


And they proposed system architecture is shown in Fig. 1. It consists of four main components: the client devices, the wireless access network, the Internet and its hosts, and the server side that accommodates the batabase and application-specific servers that are required in the system.


Use this architecture, they implement a system using PDAs with cellular phone data connections for user with mental illness who travel to and from work. The system includes a button that the user can press to ask for help if they got lost or encounter a problem during travel to or from the work place. The system is location-aware so it can put the user in contact with a caregiver or service provider that meets the specific needs of the user and who is infairly close proximity.
And the caregiver also can get the message if they don't finish the travel on time.
The use of both web-based interfaces and SMS messages on mobile phones is recognized as a benefit because many jop coaches work away from their offices.

This paper is finding (a) Web 2.0 suits nonprofit organizations better than traditional webs in terms of maintenance cost and usability, (b) mapping tools make better GUI with respect to web-based housing services, and (c) context-aware personalization can translate to better user experiences as an RDFS-based working protytype has been built and tested.

For example, both the landlords and tenants use the website to upload and find housing informatin and expect there arematches in the prefered apartment types, locations and so on.

This paper is interested in applying web 2.0 to employment services for people with mental disabilities. It has a lot of help to improve the resource for mental disabilitie.

Before the era of Web 2.0, Web service is very expensive. The initial and maintenance cost of IT systems are often too high for nonprofit organizations. For improving this, Web 2.0 has help a lot. Before the era of Web 2.0, Web service was maintained mostly by professionals. Most of the users spent their time reading on the Internet, but they couldn't easily share the information about their opinions, and pictures or enen videos. Web 2.0 gives Internet users a chance to easily publish their work on the Web and introduce it to the world. This paper study the processes how to unleash the power of Web 2.0 to assist people with mental disabilities and their caregivers.
